Here's a video time lapse of the process i take to swap from street fairings to track fairings. Got bored, and decided to do it. Enjoy

I never knew how complicated that stock bodywork is.

Cool video, nice garage.
But yeah, what a pain. Makes my 'strom look like cake.
Don't know how many times I did that last year! I didn't even renew my street registration this year...

Labor of love is right! Holy crap dude! You have a LOT of energy and that is a sweet street/track ride.
I'm thinking you need a much larger garage and then you charge ladies to show up as you lead them through this new, radical yoga routine... "Bike Ready" yoga. Explain practitioners will need to do this 8 times a year to achieve harmony. These dates and times will coincide with Tony's Track Days. Every garage looks better with ladies and it's way easier to sell them Yoga stuff these days.![]()
For those who don't know, SharkSkinz makes street bodywork which is exactly like their race bodywork but has cut outs for the headlights and tail lights.
This would drastically cut down your prep time if you're switching over your street bike for track use.
Wow...that's a lot of work. Props.

how long does that take you in real time?

my god that's way too long. I used to be able to swap my 929 over in about 15 minutes taking my time. all I needed was a 5mm allen, a screw driver to take the windscreen off because there's a 5mm allen behind it that holds the headlight assembly and front fairing on the upper fairing bracket and I think a 10mm socket or wrench to get the back seat and its bracket off. going back the other way track to street probably took 20-25 minutes.

Prepping my street bike for the track:
Step 1: *remove mirrors*
Step 2: *disconnect tail lights*

Cool vid but I could only tolerate watching you use those allen wrenches for a minute or so. A cordless impact would make that job sooooo much faster. Even allen sockets would be an improvement.
thats an awesome garage
so jelly
Those race plastics look familiar...did you buy those off another Lo-Riderz member? I sold mine 2 years back but I notice some of the imperfections in the paint job which were exactly where I had messed up painting it, hahaha.
