    Another Streetfighter project under way

Well since the Honda is virtually finished (just waiting for a side panel) My GPz is desperately in need of something as you can see. I think its going streetfighter but I'm just going to throw various parts at it until I like how looks.

Last nights progress was pretty much just get a 93 ZX6 front end on there and check how the lights would look. Today I'm going to see if the ZX6 back end will go on, or if not try the wheel in the stock s/arm

I think it's the paint that will keep me up with bad dreams now.

    Another Streetfighter project under way

Decided to update all my project threads
This damn things is actually going to cost me some money. The ZX wheel will fit in the GPz swingarm but has a thicker axle. So I'm going to have to have the chain adjusters hole widened. Its costing money as I want it done right so taking it to an engineers to get done.
I have a pipe that comes up HIGH as it is so I'll run the tail section along the same line as that. My sons gonna be disappointed as I'm losing the rear seat and pegs.
Unforuately the paint is still the same

'85 GPz 750 (black) was my first streetbike! I put damned near 30K on that thing too! Made the mistake of replacing it with an '86 Gixxer 750 deathtrap from hell. Replaced that with another '85 GPz 750 (silver). Wunna the most reliable bikes I've ever owned. Can't wait to see it when it's done...

Suggestion? Paint it old school (but since revived) Kawi green w/ silver & black stripe...

I was thinking something along the lines of stock colors but played with a little. I've lived with this for almost a year and am a little overdosed on green LOL. Probably some black silver and gunmetal maybe with a little red in there.
This one must be reliable with 50k up and still goes well.

Any of the old school schemes would look awesome on it! Red w/ black & silver; silver w/ red & black; the above mentioned green w/ black & silver. Hell, even orange w/ black & silver would look slick...

None the less, I can't wait to see it when it's done!
