How the hell do you get them out? The bolts are on a tail section of an 02 R6 bolted into I believe the sub frame. Need help please.
I had something similar happened to my engine mount bolt.
final solution: weld a correct size hex key and turn it. (thanks dan for this)

Vice grips if you can get them to bite. Otherwise use an ez-out.

come on guys you gotta break it down for me lol

...Also known as ez-outs. They're reverse threaded so as you drill them into the screw they pull it out.
However the name is somewhat of a misnomer so try the vice grips first.
weld, sorry about the typo.
be careful using ez-out or any screw extractor, if the bolt is big and requires alot of torque, the ex-out drill bit could snap inside your stripped bolt.

Ok im gonna go out there and try and use vice grips and see how that goes....This is such a pain in the ass.
I would just leave the tail on there... F EZ outs...
vice grips are too big to fit around the bolt with the little amount of fairing clearence thats provided
Can you file a slot into it big enough to use a flathead screwdriver?
If so, try that and make sure to use the biggest screwdriver you can slot to avoid stripping it again.
If at first you don't succeed, here's a few ways to really fuck it up
Of course my favorite solution to any difficult problem, ala reiobard, is to convince yourself that whatever it is didn't really need doing in the first place![]()
I think I am just gonna go to sears and buy a power drill and a screw extractor kit and see how that goes.
what size is the bolt? if its not too round off, maybe you can use this
make sure to use a breaker bar to get extra leverage

This kind suck IMO, next to useless for bolts: Craftsman 5 pc. Screw Extractor Set - Includes Screw Extractors No. 1-5 - Model 66202 at Sears.com
Honclfibr linked this kind, but also implied that they suck...which I'm agreeing with.
