Just the thought of shifting while leaning at full throttle, I need to go back to kindergarten. I was only clutch-less shifting once pointed straight out of 12.

The "What if I had a first gen" game?

    Okay, sure...

IF I had a first gen I'd have to do some research in order to give you an educated answer.
Seriously, I don't have the slightest idea what system I'd go with.

Play time on a smaller bike will help a lot on that front. Once you get used to the mechanics, trying it on a bigger machine isn't as intimidating.

Many of them even work on carburetted machines, using the kill switch circuit, or tying into the coil power feed.

So being I'm not making it to the track this season I've been looking at other ways to continue wasting money on things for my bike.. Not saying I would.. But has anyone run one of these before and/or are they even legal in CCS/LRRS? It looks kinda like cheating lol

They offer all sorts of products... which one(s) are you talking about?

If you're talking about the quickshifters, it's just like a dynojet quickshifter for a powercommander....

    Re: Let's talk quickshifters...

Yeah i see that the quickshifter looks almost identical to the dynojets. The one that caught my eye was their Powershifter product line which gives you pushbuttons to shift. I actually saw the controls on a bike before but at the time was naive and didn't know what it was. Now that I know.. I'm intrigued and curious if anyone runs one.

Bahaha I know how you feel. I bought my Bazzaz QS4 in the winter of '12 and tried installing twice in spring '13. Bazzaz instructions sucked and was no help so I just rode without it until this passing Monday. Had some friends install the unit again, which freaking works now, all because one sensor was suppose to go to another connector on the bike that they didn't list in the instructions.

Prior to this though I had the ecu reflashed and the shifting on the bike was already buttery smooth. Now enter the QS4, push type, and WOW, I probably wont be going back to riding without a QS. SMOOTHER! WOT through the gears is like heaven, specially between 2-3 shifts was so smooth I had to check that it even SHIFTED. That smooth. I would suggest installing it now
