i searched to see if anyone had any experience with this company. They were the only ones that i could find that did weekend days. Id love to do a tonys but realistically theres no way i can drive all the way back here from upstate ny and stay for a monday session and then hoof it back there and be in to work by tuesday.
Search results showed that motion pro has a ton of riders per group. does anyone know if things have gotten any better? its my first track day so id rather not go to a big gaggle fuck of riders.

I did five days with them in Canada last summer. The groups were over crowded and it was in fact a total gaggle fuck. The first time I went it wasn't bad, but the second was a fuckaroo. Maybe they just sucked in Canada due to the conditions and the nature of running at a new track.
Can you find a track day around a holiday to make it easier?
My impression was that their first couple of times at Calabogie where a "total gaggle fuck," but things improved to a "busy fuck." Was that your impression Burnham? When we were up there it was a little disorganized, no instruction, and busy, but I heard it was better than the time before...
Edit to say: I'm planning to do a couple days up there this year. The increadable track makes it worth it.
2006 Triumph Speed Triple - Street
2003 R6 - Track
2000 SV650 - Street/Track
That's right, back to a 2 cylinder, 3 cylinder, and a 4 cylinder.
What is the max amount of riders they allow on the track?

I thought the my second time up there was far worse than the first, but no, it won't stop me from going back. I guess it was a combination of crazy fucking Canadians on liter bikes, some local asshole instructors with something to prove, and a lack of coordination. Rather than break up the groups a little better most of the instructors were just fucking around with each other, causing problems rather than sorting them out. I'm trying to work on something and some fucking instructor on a 1k passes me for the sake of it and proceeds to hold me up for four or five turns, just for me to pass him back. Then, repeat. I mean, if you were fast enough to get by then go along on your merry fucking way and let me be. No, instead this cunt would blitz down deep into a corner like it was a race just to scare himself shitless and park it. Then blow my doors off in a drag race. I'm not here trying how to learn to ride a gixxer, you ass ramming cock master. Take your forty extra HP ride into a fucking wall. Fucking shit heels, instructing me on what, how to be a cunt? I think not. That kind of crap doesn't belong at a track day. I think there were sixty five people in my group, all in clumps. It took a week to wash out the sand, there may still be a little left up in there.
The track is beautiful, and I heard there are bathrooms, a paddock, and an observation area now. All in all I was a little bummed out with TPM, and really disgusted with at least half of the instructors.
doesnt sound like the best place for a "first" track day. are there any other people doing days on a weekend? might just have to figure something out with a ttd somehow. anyone know how late they usually run on a monday? i guess it would be a big push to finsih the day late in teh afternoon and then pack up shop and head back to rochester. i guess i just gotta man up and do it.

for a first TD you do NOT want Team Pro Motion - i have done a couple with them (nhis and pocono)..... interesting to say the least
the biggest danger is their fucking instructors! no joke
my only real advice if you listen to any of my BS is to do tonys as a first TD - its safe fun and you learn
D-Rock
i guess its a tonys then. the motion pro ones just seemed attractive since i could get to one on a saturday.

I know we have lots of upstate NY peeps that do what you said...
(leave Monday night from the track and work Tuesday).
Of course, this year most will be riding Monday and Tuesday... and getting back to work on Wednesday.

my first was LAPS and went well.
Sounds like these instructors stuff you in corners. Do they give you the head turn mid pass like "take that bitch"?![]()

I went to TPM at Pocono for my 2nd day. I dunno I didn't have any real problems. I took the beginner course and it was pretty informative, but it is definitely geared towards going faster and not riding better/safer.
Overall Tony's was definitely better, but I didn't have a real problem with anyone at TPM. Most of the instructors were pretty helpful there too. When I went down they got my bike back running for me and made sure I got back out on the track. Then again maybe I lucked out that day?
Check out NESBA : Northeast Sports Bike Association, I've ridden with them for a couple years now and have been very happy. Always well organized, CR's are pretty helpful (if they're not doing traffic control), safety is a HIGH priority, and they always do weekend trackdays. Coming from Rochester you could get to Beave Run (its 45 minutes north of Pittsburgh) faster than you can get to NHIS. Be warned though; the beginner group with NESBA is pretty damn fast so you sometimes get totally newbies getting buzzed by some much faster riders, not fun for the newbies.
Mmmmm, lapping the Beave....![]()
Yeah I dunno I wasn't there. I just figured I'd post my experience with them. It is nice when it's on weekends since I think I'm going to have to do that a lot this summer. 5 days vacation ftl
