    So I just read the original thread and now this one. So basically you spent $2,000+ to buy a brand new bike, and pay insurance on a brand new bike,to let it sit with only 2500 miles on it.

    Nah it wasn't a repo, it never hit my credit as a repo. It was a voluntary buy back. They didn't have tot are it back and if they didn't I would have sold it to someone :-) I had no clue it was common but I greatly appreciate the dealership taking care of me during a financial crisis.

    Getting rid of the bike was due to a financial crisis which had me choosing between a place to live and getting rid of debt or keeping the bike. I didn't get rid of the bike because I wanted to.

    Anyway picking up a 2003 vstar 650 to bang around on next week.

    Way too much drama with the sale. They agreed on a price then said they wanted more.. It was through a family member.. Never again i walked away and will just get a bike next summer lol
