I really dont know why they would take the picture and put it in the article. Please drive safe.....and for the Rider and his family and Fiance my condolences.
Arguing on the internet is like winning a gold medal in the special olympics......whether you win or lose you are still retarded!

Little more info at the end of this article...
Very tragic..![]()
No details on if he was geared up or not ?
My condolences for the Fiance and family.
Life is full of curves...just lean into them!!!
Wow, that really brought me down.

That is an awful story.
I particularly like how both stories called the bike a "yellow racing Suzuki". I didn't see any numbers on it in either pic, so what qualifies it as a "racing" bike. My guess....fuckhead reporters trying to paint a picture of irresponsible rider, just because he rides a sportbike.....![]()
Also, the story says that he was riding down the middle of the street and swerved to avoid an oncoming car...I think we're going to hear more about this, because why the hell would he ride down the middle of the road???
Sucks.![]()
I was just at APD during lunch... I didn't think to ask if he was geared... however I was told he was reported to be an experienced rider... for whatever that is worth..
State Police reconstruction were getting on scene as I was leaving... So you're right... we will know more soon I'm sure...
Winter Street resident Rob St. Germain, who lives near the site of the crash, said the street is notorious for speeding cars.
Cars not motorcycles, speeding cars... The car that said he was speeding down the centerwas probaly taking a corner wide and over the limit.....
When i saw whitinsville I got a chill, got fam up there and a couple ride....
RIP, and my condolences to the family
I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed that. Damn reporters.Originally posted by highsider

Yup.
Too much of this going on.
RIP brother.
I am suspicious of the oncoming car. They were very ready to blame him for speeding down the middle of the road.
derek
It is defintely true that most every sportbike produced these days does look (and probably is) just about ready for the racetrack, I guess my interpretation of a "yellow racing Suzuki" as the reporter says, would be a bike that has some sort of track designation - numbers, sponsor stickers, etc.
Also, notice how they fit the "yellow racing Suzuki" in there with the discussion of how dangerous motorcycles are.
I guess my point is that I'm upset that they sort of seem to assume that this whole accident was the biker's fault, even though they obviously dont have that many details. I have to wonder if they would have written the article differently if he had been riding a Honda Shadow.
You gotta love how the officer said he assumed the guy 'dumped his bike to get away from it'.
Listen guys, if I ever die in an accident you can be damned sure I didn't intentionally dump my bike first to get away from it, no matter what any bonehead says.
