For a cheap neck gater: take a knit cap and cut the top off. Pull down over neck; put on helmet; go for a ride. On cold mornings this will keep your neck warm and extend your riding season.

----fingernail polish will work to unstick your fingers and help get the crazy glue off .

----if your boots get wet out on a ride , MX or street and you need to ride the next day , stuff them with news paper for an hour or so , toss that paper away and restuff again over night , boots won't be 100% dry but will be alot better the next morning.


----bolt 2 old tooth brushed together bristle to bristle ( flex head work best ) and you have a free grunge brush for cleaning your bike chain .Spray down your chain with wd40 hold the brush in place on either side of the chain and spin the wheel a few times , repeat for the top/bottom of chain , wipe down with a rag and your ready for your regular chain lube .


----If you find yourself caught out on a ride and the weather turns cold buy a news paper , crumple it up and stuff it in the front of your jacket for an extra wind break layer .

Be aware of early morning heading East and evening heading west rides. You could be blinded by the sun and not see or the car driver could be blinded and not see you on the bike.
