Can try Motor Sport Accessories on route 6 in Westport. Don't know if they have what your looking for on hand but if they do he also has machines for changing and balancing there.
My ride's
95 FZR 1000
19xx DOUBLE "D"
(sold) 02 CBR600 F4i (track bike)
06 Chevy Supercharged Cobalt SS
Also, Halfsquid who lives in Framingham, Ma might still have my dunlop D207 tire I gave him I belive its a 180 so I'm not sure it will clear the chain.
We tried there, thanks for the suggestion....Can try Motor Sport Accessories on route 6 in Westport. Don't know if they have what your looking for on hand but if they do he also has machines for changing and balancing there.

Go to www.getamotorcycle.com and click on the bottom that says find a dealer there might be more dealers in there you can look for, It might be a haul but RJ motorsports in Nashua NH has a huge stock of tires...
try Razee's in North Kingstown, they carry some rather odd sizes because they deal with so many brands of bikes. 1-401-88H-ONDA

Oh and just to clarify, After posting in the for sale section Evans friend most likely got the nails in his tire after he purchased the motorcycle from me. I would never sell a bike that could have had a potential tire failure not to mention have my own fiance ride a bike that had nails in it!

Doug, I hope you dont think I was implying you sold the bike like that. I know the tires were perfect when we purchased the bike from you![]()

When I first saw the post I though you might of been implying but after you post about your friend most likely picking the nails up I new for sure anyway Good luck with the tire maybe use some of that green slime stuff, You know you can plug a tire to! Just bring it to a tire shop.

I've heard of people plugging tires and using the tires untill the where smoked, so people wont do it although I have never heard of a story of anyone having tire failure do to a plug I would think the fact that your friend will be learning to ride he would be taking it easy. Maybe I f I was taking a bike to the track I would be worried but putting around town i wouldnt be. My 2 cents anyone care to chime in about Plug tires???

The plug all depends on where the nails were taken out of. If they are to close to the sidewall no way. But if they are in the meat of the tire and you dont think you are going to try and cross the sound barrier you should be ok.
You should still consider changing the tire ASAP and staying away from those nails![]()
