Tire change on MV Agusta (single sided swingarm)

So I got new tires in...called Eastern Cycle in Beverly, cuz they are an MV dealer and they are 1 town over from me. Since giving up Ducati, man they fell apart. The guy answering the phone says the owner, Steve, is not in so when he comes back he will call me to schedule a day to bring it in. And Im goning to have to leave it for a day to install them. I called them at 10am tuesday. They never called back. Um, ya...you're done.

So, who can change these suckers for me? I do have the rear wheel socket to remove the rim....

I wanna do it quickly, but I dont want to drive 100 miles to do it.

Tricky Mike does mine, no problems but I always take the wheels off and run them up to him.

Re: Tire change on MV Agusta (single sided swingarm)

I would see if anyone on here has a front stand that lifts off the fork ends (I sold mine) when I had it I set it up to lift off of the brake caliper mount just behind the fork bottom. If yours is just like mine the forks have quick release lowers that swing down to release the wheel (one bolt each). the stand will support the weight on the mount point and allow the quick release to drop down and wheel to come off but it is a bit tricky because you need to remove the calipers first in order to slide the wheel out and if you lift the bike before you do this its a bitch. Also DO NOT remove the fender as this keeps the forks from pivoting while they are supporting the weight of the bike.

The rear is cake with the factory stand.

I have a crappy "under the front fork bottom" front stand you're welcome to. If the fork bottoms have holes in the bottom it'll work.

Actually those don't appear to be hinged like mine. That looks rather easy as ling as you can get a front stand with the rubber "fingers" for supporting the forks.
