So I lost my title..

Well I just moved over the river from jersey to PA and when I went to get my truck and bike titles together to re-register them realized I have lost the title to my bike. To make matters worse my insurance still has it on record that my bike is still on lien despite the fact that I paid it off a couple months ago. So now how do I go about solving this problem? Get another letter from the loan company saying I paid off the bike in full then go to the dmv in jersey to get a new title? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

pretty sure this is all you can do...although you maybe able to do it over the phone...

Yes and duplicate titles take a long time...

I also think it will confuse them at Jersey. I'ld go for the duplicate title then mess with the pay off 2nd step.
