Ok so took a look at my front tire today its getting close to the wear bars, so I need a new one. I currently have Pilot Powers, non ct, front and back, the back still has quite a bit of life left on it.
I'm thinking of going with the Bridgestone BT016s, I've had bt014s and loved them these are suposed to stick better and wear longer, plus you can get them from dennis kirk for 99.99. My concern however is how they'll do in the rain my bt014s were amazing in the rain, and the pilots have been pretty decent. I was also thinking of going with the new pilot road 2s but they aren't cheap and I don't wanna have to worry about them not being as sticky.
Any one having any feed back speak up. Any other suggestion welcome, just keep in mine that i'm looking at price points as I ride alot, have allready done 7500 miles this season.
Thanks guys/gals.

I am out of it now but would consider
pilot road 2 or road smarts if you ride alot.
If you never scrape anything or touch a knee down they are sticky enough

A Bridgestone tire dealer without sales tax is nearby at the track(NHMS). Miles will be at the track friday right through the weekend(8/21-8/23). If you call or email he will have them on hand for you. Watch some racing, meet some NESRer's, have some track food and ride off on new skins.
The 16's do fine in the rain. I absolutely love the tires. They stick like crazy, warm up quick and have a nice profile.

ok thanks for the input, I'm gonna pick em up from dennis kirk, 99 for front and 114 for rear with free shipping. Now i'm up to another quandry though. I really don't like having two different tires on my bike, but my rear tire still has quite a bit of life left on it, and i don't have alot of money to be throwing around at the moment. Do you think i'll notice a big difference between the two tires?
Would anyone on here be interested in the rear I have on the bike now, its a 160/60-17, for like 60bucks?
Don't be cheap

I really can't afford to have another kid right now, but this used only once rainbow colored chinese condom is cheaper than the brand new Trojan condom........
My advice. PAY FOR THE NEW RUBBER on both wheels.
Check out this guy here. MOTO RACE is also a forum sponsor and they have great closeout deals. Power classic sets for $160 and you'd be supporting a local business at the same time.
Wherever you buy your tires, get Boston Moto to mount them for you. They do a stellar job at a great price.
