Title doesn't match

Just picked up a bike for my girl & on the way home we noticed the title says '96 instead of '95.... everything else checks out about this bike, no other funny business... vin numbers match, blah blah blah, I think it was just a type-o.

how much of a pain is it gonna be if we wanna get that fixed? Best course of action?

the 10th digit in the vin should be the last digit in the model year of the bike. does that match up?

your trailer & tie down trick worked perfectly for both pick-ups... throw her/it on the trailer... two straps on the front, one on the rear




... So from what you guys are saying it shouldn't pose a problem... but once she gets home I'll let you guys know for sure if the vin on the title matches everything else.

'95 (er '96 ) GS500E. Red, 14k on the clock, super clean & in condition shape minus a few super minor chips & scratches... Runs great but could use a new set of sneakers (front is horribly scalloped but felt fine in the parkin lot last night).

Got it for 1400 bucks. Jenni talked him down from 1600

Got the vin.... JS1GM51A5T2100377. 10th digit is a T which stands for '96 (according to this).... so I guess it's technically a '96. I think the date on the frame said "09/95", so I presume because it was in the last quarter of '95 that it was produced the just considered it a '96 model.
