That said AND....technology has not relegated 10 y/o bikes to the scrap heap yet. What has occured over the last 10 years is simply a more focused direction for sportbikes. Most riders can not discern between a stiction coatings and radial brakes anyway. That FZR is a 170 mph machine. If that's a slouch, I'm giving up riding.Originally posted by Rice-rocket1
This bike just "fits" me better than the newer ones, and I was the last one to get the new bike. But I have been told that it is time to start thinking about getting a new bike. Not to replace the old one but to go along with the old one so that I have my choice of bikes to ride. What a wife......![]()
Also, this bike won bike of the year in 96 and its a 95. Yamaha made one hell of a bike when they made it. Has to be something good for me to still love the style and feel of it.
