I made some stuff. Bought some stuff. I started with a loaded Pace American 6 x 12. It came with 30 amp electric. Rubber floor. Stainless cabinets. Insulation package. Overhead AC and DC lights. Ctrack. Floor Tiedowns. Mags. Diamond plate package. Cabinets, Full size spare. Formica walls. Was custom made for a karter who used it once and decided it was too small. I got the build sheet. I added overhead diamond plate cabinents, a extra outside too. A CD AM FM sony. A chemical shelf on the door. And then I bought a sheet of diamond plate and stated copying stuff that was being sold on the internet. Towel rack, aerosol can holder, flashlight holder, Fire extingisher holder, helmet holder, rubber glove box dispenser, and rain wheel holders.![]()
When I was racing karts we had a nice setup. 8.5' X 20' with a ramp back door and side door with a camper latch. Had a roof platform and ladder so when parked properly you could see all of Loudon except in the bowl and the back side of the hill. Hanging off the side of that was both a 110 flood and a 12v flood so we had light outside for some night time work. Inside had a circuit panel with fluorescent lights and outlets, E Track in the back with the load bars to put the karts on (not applicable to bikes ...), custom shelves with a tire rack fitted over the wheel wells that held tool boxes and chemical bins, and vertical E Track in the front that we threw load bars and plywood on to make a 3 row bunk setup. Mini fridge fit perfect at end of bunks before the wall. Didn't have running water hah but a small electric baseboard heater took the edge off the real cold nights.
Maybe overkill, but I bet setup properly you could get 6 bikes and stuff in it. And we got 3 sleds in there in the winter .. although it sucks to tow in the snow. Maybe some steal able ideas for you.
