Got hit today on the bike....

In a continuation of what has to be the worst season for motorcycle riders, add me to the list of riders that have gone down...

i went riding during my lunch break and a woman in a minivan with about 20 kids in the car failed to yield at a stop sign and attempted to take a left in front of me and nailed me...

I'm sure the bike will be totalled. my upper body is fine thanks to my Shoei helmet, A-Star jacket & gloves..however khaki pants and doc martins arent the best at preventing rash. Both knees, shins and the tops of my feet are pretty rashed up...I'm sore as hell..and the viciden they gave me are preventing me from YELLING and screaming about this fucking soccer mom that could have killed me..

my riding season is over...i will get another bike though...

now it's time for some rest...

At least you can take the money from insurance instead of selling your bike. Let them total it!

LOL - seriously, I hope you feel a lot better. Sounds gay, but try tea tree oil on your road rash - I've heard it works well.

i'm really sorry to hear about this but glad you came out of it relatively ok. this is definitely the worst year i can remember for bikers. take care of yourself and i hope you're feeling better soon.

Sorry to hear of your introduction with a minivan Tim. I was really looking forward to riding with you this weekend. Get some rest and stay off your feet for a bit. I just hope that no other internal injuries surface in the coming days.

Well if your bike is totalled, now would be the time to trade up to a V-Twin

When it comes time, maybe FirenutzRR, lrrs167, DucatiWheelie, RSVMILLE661, PinHead, me, and others can drag you over to the Italian twin side

She will be getting cited..which is extremely good for me. It looks like her insurance will take care of it all...

and i do love those twins, Tim...i was just telling Wayne i was on Ducati's website yesterday and damn near fell in love with the metallic gray S4R with the blood red rims...

I liked the grey with the red rims too. But, Honda came out with a blue CBR600RR this year and I fell in love with that. So, I bought the VFR for other reasons and was never satisfied with it. Then Tim (the udda one) came along and corrupted my soul. The blue RR became a blue S4R. Welcome to the family

Ahh the Senna

Don't get too attached to it. Ducati typically doesn't send too many of them over here (if any). They show this as an availible color scheme for 2004, but they never shipped any senna or even yellow s4r's for that matter. Your choice would have to be between blue, black, or red. By the way, I know of a great buy on a new 2004 red one with a full Fast by Ferracci exhaust.

It's the one Wayne was supposed to buy.
