FYI

I was put on to Upol1 as a clear top coat for paint. Suposedly body shops use it for spot repairs.

It makes everything look like a glazed Christmas Ham... good.

But.. I ve been using denatured alchohol as like last prep wash and the upol just wiped off. Must really be a Shellac like formula.

On cars who cares but our gas is now 10% alchohol and yep pump gas doesn't turn it to jelly but there is obviously some evidence where the drops were. SO I know what would happen the 1st time I gassed up.

Now the paint was new but even still. I have gone over it with duplicolor clear and actually looks good. This paint was far more resistant to the alchohol .

Generally not ready for any concours or even a show but OK for a 60 MPH drive by in the rain.
