    Needed: variety of bikes

    Hey guys...

As SOME of you know... I design and manufacture some of my own parts right now, but am in the process of creating a line of hard parts for release sometime in mid 2009 (manufacturing and testing required). I'm in the process of determining if some of these new parts warrant patents, as well as acquiring a small staff, and creating an LLC for "SINAC". What I can tell you is that these parts will be American engineered and manufactured (remember that economy we all want to improve?) to the highest standards, while remaining extremely price competitive and marketed internationally. Another hint is that these parts are designed and built with competitive motorsports/racing in mind, so there are some great features to set these parts ahead of the competitor and save customers substantial time and money.

I would like to include parts for a variety of motorcycle types in the future, but at this time, am interested in measuring "sport" bikes MY2005 and later. If you don’t mind swinging by the garages to let me take a few measurements, it would be a great favor. I will be around both Friday August 8 and Saturday August 9 in the evenings, but drop a line if you're coming so I don't miss you... If interested, the people who volunteer their bikes now, will be on the top of the list for test bikes or substantial discounts on production parts.

For those creative bugs, or photoshop pros, I am planning to hold a logo design competition for a $100 credit toward future purposes.

For more info, post up in this thread or send an e-mail to: kitt@motoaddiction.com

(please note this parts company is unassociated with the moto-addiction racing team... so if you hate denno, you can still use these parts!)

can we change crash dummy to "buzkill denno" ?

I don't like the jinx-factor of his latest forum name now that he's rocking the baby blue... That was more of a trumpet-inspired nick-name

I have a 1991 EX500 you're welcome to measure, I mean, nothings changed since then, so basically you have like 20 years of bikes all set!

well i'd offer my K2 for measurements as long as it's only the bike getting "sized up"

although buzzkill is appropriate, denno is a dummy. it's a tough call

generally, those bikes get the crap ridden out of them stock, but yea we should talk... If you think there's a demand for some trick EX stuff, due to lack of options or any other reason, I'll measure it up so that if that becomes part of the line, we'll be all set.

    Re: Needed: variety of bikes

Yeah Kitt, I was being slightly sarcastic, but Im not sure what kind of demand there is for parts for the EX. Sliders maybe, I think its Dana that makes the engine case guards, dont know if theres a demand for those for street use. But you know where I am, if you wanna swing by and take a look and stuff you're more than welcome.

    Re: Needed: variety of bikes

The case guards can't be used w/ bellypans & that's what the street guys use. I bet if you started making sliders like the ones I had on my EX they'd like that. The only ones available right now are the BRG's

    BRG Frame Sliders

Do do need to drill the bellypan for those, though.

    Re: Needed: variety of bikes

I feel the need for clarification.
You had said MY2005 and later (That means 2005 and newer)
Yet people are submitting their 2005 and older model bikes. (Did you mean 2005 and earlier?)

    I have a 2003 Ducati SS1000DS or a 2007 Ducati 1098
I'll be at the track Fri., Sat., Sun. so you can have either or both.

I'll bring my '08 SV650s by. SV people are ravenous for any parts/mods so I'm sure they would sell well.

Thank you ff36buell for offering up your 1125R. We could really use some good aftermarket parts.

Yup....500 riders always looking for cans and frame sliders is right. They barely make any after market parts for them.

I'm sure you have access to Dashing Denno's 06 Anniv. R6 so you won't need my 06 Raven R6. Plus...you're in Springfield which is crazy far from Boston.
