I have an exhaust hanger that is cracked and its only a matter of time before it breaks entirely. Should be a 5 min job to fix but I have never welded aluminum in my life (nor do I have the tools). Six pack of your choice to anyone who can fix it.
Lemmie check today Woodsy....i work with like 300 welders....lol, seriously.
cool. Thanks john.
just another option, I'm guessing you've seen the commercials, but just in case you weren't aware:

Just a quick Google search and I came up with this. No clue what they're capable of. Might be worth a call seeing it looks like they're near you.

"If your mom's got a schlong, run away, she's not your mom...."
Woodsy, yep i can get it done if you wanna bring it to me.
I will let you know john. Gonna stop by the local shop and see if they can do it. If that doesn't work i will be intouch.
Woodsy,
where did you end up going for this? and what was the cost?
I'm making a license plate bracket and literally need about 3 inches of welding done and I’m looking for someone.
ended up buying some new ones
Most exhaust hangers are made from steel or stainless steel, not aluminum. In fact, I've never seen one made from aluminum, and if it is, you should get it changed to stainless. That would be a good reason for it to be cracked.
