I have apparently worn out/broken the pin spanner for my bike.
Last night I tried to increase the preload in the dark (dumb) to carry a passenger. I've done it a zillion times so I figured I'd be able to do it.
Slip-bang! Don't exactly know how it happened but the tool is gouged out a teeny bit (1-2mm!) and that is enough that I can't get it to engage anymore.
I was planning to go to VT this weekend but now I'm taking the car as the bike is sitting there with the shock messed up.
It is only $10.50 for a new one but damn this sucks. I'm hoping I can get one pretty quickly if it is a standard honda thing and not something that only fits VFRs.

I have the old tool kit from my 96 VFR....dont know if that will help you, but you can have the damn thing....![]()
