Hey all.....just like the title says....im looking to ride a SF and possibly make a purchase. Anyone possibly let me ride yours? Any Ducati dealer have a demo model?? Thanks for any suggestions!!
Try Wagner. They usually have a demo SF there that you can test. I got to take it out a few times and it was a blast!
You can ride mine!
If I had one!![]()
Seacoast, dummy.

These guys have demo models for riding and are great dealer in general. I test rode a SF and a few others.
I have a very positive visit every time I go there.
Seacoast or perhaps Great Bay... I'm not sure if Great Bay has a demo SF... Prolly Seacoast does.
Where were you when I was selling mine? Just traded it in at Seacoast. Talk to Jim Smith...he'll set you up.

This is exactly what i was looking for guys, thanks....cept Ken. LOL. Ducati 128(cycles 128) is 4 miles from my house and i used to work there but they have no demos.
+1 for Jim Smith at seacoast. Granted, I didn't test ride my diavel before buying but it was very easy to deal with him. I was waiting for the SF848 but ended up going with a used diavel (basically new with 300 miles) I hear some bad things about the 1098 streetfighter being uncomfortable but the 848 is supposedly much better.

SF is a great ride...fast...fun...and comfortable. I had a hard time deciding to move on, but couldn't resist the Panigale. The only thing for me was comfort...wasn't sure how the Panigale would fit someone who's 6'1". When I was at the NYC show, I jumped on the bike for a couple of seconds to get a feel for the ergos (before being yelled at by 2 Ducati guys guarding it). It felt pretty good, so I went with it. Having owned a Brutale, I can tell you the SF is a bit more aggressive in ergos, but has more balls.

Im looking for more aggressive. If i remember correctly, i actually sat on your SF just before you bought it at Eastern. I made a few changes on the Brutale and honestly im still not jive'ing with it. Im not givong up on it yet but if a suspension adjustment dosent drastically change the way it feels, its outta here. Everything about the Brutale is badass and i want to keep it but im not loving the ride. Im curious to see if its all nakeds or just this particular bike...
I'm fairly certain Moto Milano in Windham has a demo SF still?

Another vote for Seacoast!
But, intrigued by this comment:
It's a little like comparing an apple to chainsaw! Thinking comparing the SF to the 848 or 1198 maybe closer...? But for sure one's neked and the other's not!!!Its funny you say that....test riding the SF is pretty much to determine if im staying naked or going back to full fairings(PANAGALE?!?!?)

Dave, go back to sleep man...
Ive got a naked now. Dont like the handeling. Replaced tires, put Ducati Monster S4R handelbars on it (about 2 inches lower than stock) added a steering damper and next is to set suspension back to stock since PO played all around with it and i have no clue where its set. If the suspension reset dosent drastically improve its feel for me, im going to sell it. The plan after that is a Ducati SF if its a great ride. If by some chance all this dosent work for me, handeling/feel wise, then im going back to a superbike. This is where the Panagale comes in. Back you your nap now.
John, I'm just chillin at the house till work tonight if you wanna ride over. I'll fuck around with the clicker settings n see what I can do.
I'll let you look at my Tuono![]()

Hey Bub!!!
FWIW Alex and I were just up @ Great Bay and they had a Diavel demo right now, and are expecting a Monster Demo to come in soon, they didn't mention/we didn't ask about a street fighter.
My dad has an MV that is now a living room ornament due to complete lack of comfort, he won't rid himself of the thing though, seems to be a thing with those gorgeous machines. Good luck with the SF, thing's mean!!

Hey Johnny! If you were interested in a Speedy I'd let you take out mine... Oh well. You like Italians, so be it!
