    WTF are these?

    I bought a '96 nose fairing for my GSXR750 from a guy in NJ. It arrived yesterday with definately non-stock looking headlight connectors(big and metal) and these two housings screwed into the bottom of the nose. Are these really old HID ballasts?

    Two round metal things under center of nose. One on each side, top and bottom.

    That looks to be a retrofitted hid system from a car(oem). The slim ballasts are only an aftermarket thing, when a car comes from the factory with hid that is what it comes with.
