My brother had an RZV500 and it had an aluminum frame (Japanese version). While he was stationed in Germany, he shipped the entire bike to me, piece by piece. I can remember that, when he got home, I couldn't wait to ride it. Then I did, and I was sorely disappointed. The bike was completely stock and it looked very nice. It just did not have the power that I was expecting. I guess that bike really needed pipes!
