10/17, First annual "Sportbike ride to the summit"

There will be 3 places to meet up with us, depending on where you live. Morning of the 17th, "my" group will meet at 930am in North Adams at the parking lot across from Big Y by the RT2 overpass, we will head east on RT2 around 10. At the same time my buddies who live in Watertown will be meeting up and heading west on RT2. We will all meet up at the French King Bridge on RT2 (a few miles east of the Gill Mobil station) around 11. Then collectively, head back west through the Mohawk Trail and end at the summit of Mt Greylock, the highest peak in MA. Depending on time, # of riders, etc, we may try and grab food/beer or whatever afterwards.

So to sum up:

930am in North Adams
930am in Watertown (contact my bud, nathan@yurva.com for details)
or 11am at the French King Bridge

I saw in the group that it's possibly an overnight trip. Is there a particular motel/hotel out that way that people are planning on staying at?

I'm going to start a poll in the meetup group of what people plan on doing. There is a Holiday Inn right in North Adams.
