ugh...gross...don't go down 495 into northborough...there aren't many good roads around there
I'll be in NY in the morning, but would be down for a ride when I get back.
how much later were you planning?
also, I dropped off the new rear wheel, the current front wheel, and a pair of bt-014's at performance cycles for mounting![]()
unfortunately, they told me (a day after I dropped off the parts) that they absolutely have to order new seals for the new rear wheel's bearings...so the rear won't be ready for another week...I can ride on the poopy 150/70 this weekend though...
I don't care. Just tell me when and where and I'm there. I just came up from putting the special lube on the chain!!!, Tire pressure is up to par, static sag is set, oil level is correct, coolant level is correct, brake fluid level is correct. Did I miss anything?
Let the season begin!!!
okay well if the lower portion of the loop sucks we could just do the top portion. Take Rt.2 > 63 > 47 > 116 > 8A > top half of the loop in the pic I posted.
There also seems to be some interest in going to the car show. We could do a loop by going south into RI/CT and then heading north to Worcester (I think that's were the show is). Yea or nay?
I'm not really one to make decisions when it comes to a route to take. Either way... I'm in. Name the time and place to meet and i'll be there.
Alex, you have to make the decision. We all seem open to whatever. It's the first real big group ride. I think we all just want to be out doesn't matter where.
Ride Sunday?? (peeks)

Alex this route looks like a nice twisty ride and I think motomarket would be a perfect meeting ground because its going towards your routes.

Alex, I don't care how far we ride, as long as the route is twisty and not overloaded with traffic. Going west sounds good to me. Now you get a hard job- pick a route!![]()

I dont know if my imput will mean much for route selection, but I rode 116 last week right before they got hit with snow up near the Ashfield area. The curves were all quite wet from the melting snow. Since they got hit agan with more snow, I can imagine those twisties will be quite wet again this weekend with the warmup in the forecast. Still was a nice trip but could not enjoy the curves as much as I had hoped.

I keep forgetting that other places are getting snow. It has been nothing but rain near me. Thanks for the heads up on 116 though. I'll look the map over tomorrow and come up with a route.
No PRESSURE!! hahaha
I think we should stay away from the north at this point. It seems like not all the roads are up to par. If we stay south we'll definately be fine or maybe venture out west?
Whatever route you choose we are all getting some well deserved weekend riding weather.

I wouldn't mind hooking up for a bike ride with some of you from NESR. Just to introduce myself... I'm on a long ride to Mystic, Conn. early Sat. am. I figured I might try to meet you guys on Sunday, but I'm not sure if I'm going to be up for it.... maybe another time, perhaps??
Sorry guys I couldn't get on NESR until now. It was really weird I could go to any other site on the internet but NESR would not load. I haven't picked a route yet but I will come up with something tomorrow and post it assuming I can get on the site again.
No pressure Alex!
