WEATHER UPDATE: Looks like good weather until 4pm - then rain is getting predicted at 30% then more as time goes by. Ride is all good and still on but will likely only get to Rockport depending on what time it is. I want to leave everyone an hour to get home so no one gets caught in the rain / out with idiot drivers that aren't used to seeing bikes yet this season.

Yeah there certainly was some traffic. I am thinking about heading torwards central MA this saturday. There's lots of good stuff off of rt 2. Maybe go as far as the Mohawk Trail.

Aside from traffic and my finnicky battery good ride! Nice to meet all of you.

Next time I plan a ride I will put together a whole route and not a general idea. It was a pleasant suprise to see like 8 people out there!

TimD and I hit some roads after everyone broke off in Andover, Tewksbury, N. Reading that were pretty fun - less sand than I was expecting!

TuonoMark and Nick (ff37buell) met me at my house at 3:30 and I just got back. We went through some of my favorites through Boxford, W. Boxford, Georgetown etc, then stopped at Cycles128 to bother John for a bit before heading home via a Chilli's.

I think Melissa and I got some of the best riding of the day in at the end there, surprisingly little traffic and sand, and lots of twisty. So much for the rain we were supposed to have, but I was pretty tired anyway, definitely got my days worth of riding in.
