Remember, if you were at the last track day (July 2nd) - then you have until tomorrow (Friday) to POSTMARK your payment for the August 26th date... and receive the $175 rate.
Actually, I will go one better and say that if you were at the MAY or JULY track day this year, I will honor the $175 rate!
Otherwise, until August 11th, the price is $200.
The price is $225 if postmarked from Aug 12th to Aug 22nd.
I would not send payments by mail after the 22nd as I will be leaving for the track on the 25th. You will need to pay at the track, where the price is $250.

Quote From Samnets Site:
"If you are an "experienced" licensed Road Racer, this is NOT the Track Day for you. We cater to the average street rider and have strict rules regarding passing. If you are a beginner racer and are looking for some track time in a NON COMPETITIVE environment AND will abide by the rules, then you may sign up."
YEAH!
Hey Gerard! Hurry up and get yer bike fixed!

2 things..
First... the deadline is fast approaching for the $200 rate. Payment must be POSTMARKED by Monday, the 11th.
Second... regarding why I don't let experienced racers.
History has shown that once people start racing regularly, that their version of "close" is distorted. In other words, experienced racers are quite comfortable riding with 1 foot of space... while most street riders prefer 10 feet or so.
SIDE STORY: I remember my first Expert Race - 600cc class. Go into Turn 1 mid-pack and thought I was going to shit my leathers! Everyone is basically laying on eachothers fairings... 3 wide... and it was beautiful. No one got spookedand everyone seemed to flip from 1 to 1A to 2 all in unison. I don't think I breathed from 1 until 2. By the time I came out of Turn 2 my eyes were huge and I was like, HOLY SHIT! I don't believe I just made it through that.
Anyway, in an effort to reduce the number of times I had to have a "discussion" with a racer because of a complaint, I decided to keep our days limited to street riders (besides my instructors and a couple of old farts)![]()
So, if you are a racer and feel you're still getting the hang of things (like doing 27's or higher), then you're welcome to sign up. However, ALL racers will be watched closer and expected to go out of their way to leave room when passing.
As I've said, my goal at these Track Days is to give the average street rider a place to have fun and learn. Racers have many opportunities for track time!

Just a reminder - these are your remaining options if you wish to attend the August 26th Track Day.
1 - You can mail a payment until August 22nd - the price is $225.
I would not recommend mailing payment after the 22nd as it may not arrive in time - I'm leaving for the track on the 25th.
2 - Or, you can pay at the track - price is $250 and must be CA$H.
Thanks,
Tony
