There's a few of us guys from Boston looking to head out west to the berkshires tomorrow morning. We are planning on being at Moto Market around 9:30. Going to be a fast twisty ride. Meet us there if you can.
sounds good.

Well, as mentioned over at that other site, great riding today, guys! I really had alot of fun! It's good to know that I've learned a thing or two since last year.![]()

Yah, nice day of riding. How did you like 116? I forsee a radar detector on your bike soon!! As far as your riding, you looked good to me. Any faster, especially when you can't see the apex and you're asking for trouble. You could work on weight shifting, moving around on the bike a bit. It can get you out of trouble. You probably saw me hanging off today when there was no real need. It's just practice. My bike likes roads like 244. Similar to track conditions.
I really didn't think I was going that fast, officer
116 was great! They all seemed pretty cool to me, except for some of the roads comin' home... a few were a bit rough![]()
You'll hafta clue me in on that whole setup you have.. the detector, the remote.. so I can start saving up for one!
I do hang off from time to time when it seems necessary. I know I need to work on shifting my weight more smoothly. I'm more comfortable out on the side of the bike (hanging off) in hard turns... just feels better. Bike seems to handle better too. There's a road near me that's all short, hard turns and hills just off of 89 in Ashford. Geuss going up and down that has been good practice.
BTW.. that camera mount was temporary. Just wanted to see if I really wanted to bother getting the "real thing". The one that's on there isn't very steady, but, it made the "test run". Was able to see what kind of lines I was picking and got to critique myself. Might pick up the real mount some day. Yes, I like gadgets... just don't let myself be distracted by them![]()

Radarbusters.com Escort 8500 x50 and H.A.R.D. remote LED. I asked him for a "package" price and he threw in the hard wire kit and free shipping. Worked over the hill today didn't it? And many other times. That was a legal passing zone as soon as you reached the top of the hill. I was already downshifting to dust that cage when the alert came in. How cool is that? The head-up display was not available when Rich got his "siren". The choices back then were loud or connect a wire to your helmet. I did the wire thing for a couple of years. The wires suffer from opens due to all the movement in the wind. It got unreliable, and besides, who wants a wire to deal with? Can't remember what I paid...a lot less than the tickets.
