Any chance there's an R1200S on it, or does BMW even manufacture that particular bike anymore? Its the only one I ever really wanted to own (until the S1000RR became a reality). The last time I went in to pick up a catalog, it was in there, but it didn't seem like it had a model year anymore, like they were just made to order. Weird.

I dont think the R1200S is made any more sadly. Nice machine. As for the to-order, you may have been thinking of the R1200ST. Not often seen, and I think also phased out. Shame really.

Too bad, I remember it once being called the "gentleman's supersport." Very capable twin, something like a true 110hp at the wheel. Similar to an SV1000S, sure, but the R1200S is, well, a Bimmer. Rare bike, I think a somewhat high price (compared to the competition) left many on the floor, and it's hard to find them used, as well.
