Charity Ride to help Saint Judes Hospital

Hey Everybody!
We are having a charity ride on 10/17/09 to raise money for Saint Judes Hospital. My wife is a DM for Kay Jewelers and for many years now Kay jewelers has been selling X-Mas bears with 100% of the profits going to Saint Jude’s hospital. The past couple of years I have been selling these bears through my business to customers and vendors. This year we wanted to step it up a notch and have a ride, selling bears as the entry fee! The ride will start at Motorsports’ Intl. in Auburn, MA and finish there as well with a barbecue. I am working with Motorsports to work out the details to see what else they may be able to offer to "sweeten" the pot. I was thinking 12:00 to 5:00 on the 17th with a Rt. 140/12/202 route. I will post more info here as we work out the details.
It's a great cause, please join this ride or at least buy some bears. They make great X-mas gifts! ($12.99 ea.)

Food for this event will be donated by Motorsports International. Thay have also agreed to keep their store open after normal hours for this event offering tax free purchases of bike accessories and apparel! (6.5% discount off retail)
As this event is in collaboration with Kay Jewelers, they will be offering the same tax savings deal for that day only. The Kays store is 3 minutes from Motorsports.

Rt. 20 E to 140N
140N to 31N
31N to 12N
12N to 119W
119W to 32S
32S to 122N
122N to 202S
202S to 9E
9E to 31N
31N to 62E
62E to 140 S
140S to 20W
20W back to Motorsports.

The is a cookout starting at 3:00pm and Motorsports will be offering tax-free purchases on all accessories and apparel!

The entrance fee is $30.00 which gets you two chatity bears/dogs. 100% of the profits from these stuffed animals goes to St. Jude Hospital. If you do not want the stuffed animals Toys for Tots will be on site to gladly take your donation!

We are shooting for 100 riders - Please Help us help St. Jude!

RAIN DATE PEOPLE!

Saturday is supposed to be cold and miserable. We have moved the date back to 10/24/09. Still at Motorsports, still at 10:00am and still tax free shopping that day at Motorsports.

Well...Saturday is wash....the ride this year is officially cancelled. Thanks to everyone who was going to participate. We'll try it again early Spring!
