I have to say, those leathers look awsome..
yea yea .. I know ... no bowl pics. I'm thankful just to have these.
wait a min there's a waitress that'll take steve's 14 and ku's 1/2 and my 7
that's 21-1/2 inches ....... that's good I mean GREAT service
anyway .... there was this guy there Mike (super nice guy that races) who is the suspesion set up guru! right? he gets to my bike and pushes down on the bars a couple o times and tells me that it feels just about right then starts turning the rebound setting out then in then the other side. as he's doing this I tell him about the type of not so squidly riding I do and what kind of condition the roads are in blah blah ....
the CBR is a stable bike right? well .... coming thru the turn that goes off the oval (think its 3 or 4) and up the hill my bike does something wicked fukd up. so bad that I have to pit. as i went over the transition the bike took a nose dive to the outside of the turn by like 3-4 feet off my line by the time I got thru the second part of the transition I was totaly off throttle and questioning what i did wrong???? back in the garage I ask Mike to look at it again and he tells me it my riding style (ERRRRRaaaa)
after riding with not so squidly ducdave for the past 1000 miles or so my bike has been like madison rock and remembering some of the roads we went down ... the tracks transitions are glass flat in comparison
so i tell him I may not be the best rider but I know when a bike is not set up right so he looks again and has to tweak the compression
the next time out same turn I fuckd up .... made a correction and had the rear of the bike comin around on me (O shit!!) .... would'a been a low side into the wall ... but I got off throttle just a little and she grabbed with a little wiggle and up the hill i went

Matt, if you are talking about going up the hill after the transition at turn 3 you are talking about a well know ass-biter. Lots of high sides just as people come over the hill. They are grabbing a handfull of throttle at the same time they are slightly leaned and the ass end gets lightened by the crest. Bike steps out, grabs....SEE YA. Sounds sort of what you are describing. Secret there is smooth on the throttle. (Or whatever Mike tells you...he is a champion racer and knows his chit!).... coming thru the turn that goes off the oval (think its 3 or 4) and up the hill my bike does something wicked fukd up.
My 2 cents for whatever thats worth....
...oh, its worth 2 cents...![]()
