We're grateful to have you setting these up but to those that live too far away to attend, follow his lead and plan one for your local circle of riders instead of complaining about the distance to attend Sam's. It's an open invitation, but he's not going to drag 25 of us 2 states away to meet up with a few. If there are more than a few, then that's enough to start another Dinner out with NESR in another area.
Waxy O'Connors in Lexington, MA has a maximum 4-way split of a table bill (or they did summer of 2011). Foolish policies like this are reason enough for me to dine elsewhere.

thought it would be fun to actually see if this was true since I couldn't imagine there being a magical central point an hour from everything and well... he was close. Everything south of boston is about an hour. Everything north is about an hour and a half. NH, VT, ME is way more though.

Springfield- Harrisville, RI= 72.2mi 1:25
Newport- Harrisville, RI= 49.1mi 1:02
Boston- Harrisville, RI- 60.5mi 1:17 (no traffic)

I was just throwing out an idea that noone liked. Those times are at speed limit and at 70 its close enough to an about an hour. Either way we should just do it the same day and give everyone the choice of which to go to. I didnt realize that suggesting unity could be such a bad idea that everyone hated.
