OK... so last week didn't pan out too well.
I actually ended up riding with Renee... who got a blowout on her front tire while we were on the road... valve stem was tore almost off... she got it mostly slowed down and then dumped it on the side of the road... no injuries or broken parts.
Anyway, bike is fixed and I'm looking to ride.
Anyone available/interested for either day? If so, post up your name and which day you can do.
EDIT: PS, this would be an intermediate ride and above... leaving from Springfield, MA. By intermediate, I mean you should be able to get through pretty much any trail, but you don't have to be fast. There will be a couple of trails that are rocky or rooty, and we have to go down them to get to the next section so you can't bypass them. Again, KLR650's would be the biggest bike I would suggest bringing.

Sunday is doable for us.

I have to drop my wife at Bradley airport at 645am on sun. What time are you meeting and when might the ride start?
Eric
We usually hit the road at 11AM... so you should have plenty of time.
It looks like Renee and I will be going out on Saturday for a few hours too. Same deal, probably start at 11 or so.
Anyone is welcome to join us. Keep in mind that the pace will be pretty sedate and we'll be skipping any of the harder sections that we'll be hitting on Sunday.
So... if you have a dual sport, come out and play with us on Saturday (Red Group) or Sunday (Yellow/Blue Group).![]()
So... how's Sunday's ride looking now that we're getting closer?
Chris and Paige... still in?
Anyone else??
I'm still in. Just need to know where is the meeting spot?![]()
PM sent!
Assuming Paige and Chris are still in, we have a group of 5 so far.
Should be a blast... I'm going to pre-run a couple of spots today.
Just came back from trying to hook up two sections of trail...
That didn't pan out too well.
But!!!!
After years of looking at a particular mountain and thinking, "there have got to be trails that go up and over that thing"... I decided to seriously go looking for them.
And I found the entry point!
I went partially up and decided to leave it for tomorrow's ride. Looks like fun.
We'll be there by 11am, son!

Someone else just joined us... so we now have 6 riders... sounds perfect.
Off to bed soon... will be checking email/forums early.
You guys have fun.![]()
Wow... awesome ride today.
Found two new areas to go exploring on.
Minimal crashes... no injuries... and we recruited another dual sporter.
Great ride, I had a blast. Here are the GPS tracks of our route.

Had a great time Tony. Have to get together again when I come back from vacation.![]()
I had forgotten how much a good dirt ride wears me out...
Glad I have tomorrow to recuperate.![]()
Great day of riding. Thanks for the hospitality!
Oh, and a replacement Husky mirror is $26.25 Not too bad, but I may look into finding one that acts as better sidestand.
Here's the elevation plot:

Chris,
Thanks for the TE 310 link, that may be the perfect size bike for me. I hope they have one I can ride at Mid-Ohio Vintage MC Days in a couple of weeks.
