The finger thing was a 3 count to throttle....We were surprised you didn't join up and play!
As for more torque, just buy a Gixxer 1K![]()

I agree that it was a good time. I was suppose to leave early because I had something else I needed to do. Ended up staying till the end and almost went for the ride after. Nice to be able to put some names and faces with profile names, althought I won't remember anyones name next time we meet. Degsy, thanks for putting this together. Anyone that didn't go you missed a good time.
(looks like the orange Z1000's are faster then the black ones!)
most excellent!
I'm still sorta surprised that there wasn't a "Bikes Whose Name Begins With 'K' " category... I coulda won that!
Kham, don't you worry 'bout disrespecting this old geezer on the road... why should you be any different than anyone else?
BTW- some nice pix, Ben... as usual.![]()

Sorry Kham.....had to do it!![]()
A huge thank-you to those people who turned up for the Dyno day. I don't blame any of the no-shows as the weather was threatening to downpour all day but as it was we didn't see any rain at all.
RJ's did a fantastic job of getting all the bikes through the dyno super fast and they put on some really good food too.
Everybody had a great time as far as I can tell. We need to put a warning up for people to make sure their chains and tires are in good condition for the next dyno day which may be in October this year.
I had to manipulate some of the categories to try to spread out the awards some and I hope evrybody was somewhat happy and in agreement with how I did that. Next time we will know to split it up in a better way so that we can get somne hot competition going. We really need about 50 or so people there to make it worthwhile to run a meaningfull dyno shootout.
Congrats to the winners, I will let you all post your HP results (winners and losers).
5 people won a hat, a shirt and a 33% discount coupon to a future NESR trackday.
Dave Carvalho won the Hyperbike category and the overall highest hp with a blistering 160.1 on his stock '99 hyabusa and he will be joining us for free on an NESR trackday next year.
Best of all, we were able to hand Roger at RJ's a $700 wad of 20's towards the fund for Bryan Paquette's family and everyone deserves a pat on the back for that, especially Dustin (sevens) for throwing in an extra $20 to make our $680 into a round $700, very classy Dustin.
Thanks again everyone.

Here is mine... had to clean it up in photoshop as the piece of paper was pretty wrinkled up.
I had checked the weather records when I got home... it was ~82 at lunchtime, about 29.9in pressure. Be interesting to see what it is in October and how much it changes the results.

Nashua, Nh altitude = 197'
I used Weather.com history to get:
84*
73* dewpoint
70% humidity
30.01 BAR
Gives us a correction factor of 1.018
I have my dyno uploaded here.

As it was pointed out that the dyno pulls weren't done with any corrections....so it was a "real" time as the weather is...Samples.
If the weather had changed through out the day, then I bet some guys would raise an eyebrow...but a correction factor of 1.018 isn't that bad, considering on how the air felt.
so-o-o... would we multiply or divide by the correction factor to get the "corrected" results?![]()
