also, does anyone remember the fastest way around each of the turns are?
i was there this past Saturday for a bachelor party. We did 2 races. Started in the lead in the 1st race and won by 2 laps. Started the 2nd race in last (11th). Was in 1st after 3 laps and won by half a lap.
If you can't Race it or take it to bed, it's not worth having..
My best time was at 20.2. not bad considering i haven't raced there in several years, and haven't karted at all this past year. I used to be able to run consistent sub 20's for an entire race...

I was just talking to someone about this for Jan. 23rd-ish.
Someone set it up.
Perhapse we can negotiate a discount for a large group? Do they do that? In this ecconomy all you really need to do is ask.

Depending on how much interest there is a Mini-Grand Prix or endurance race might be fun.

well, I definitely want to go this weekend...possibly Saturday ~lunch time to use that buy-1-get-one coupon in the cafe too
I also can't go Saturday 1/24 because I'll be skiing
but if people want to go Sunday 1/25, I could probably work something out
I loved going on Sundays. They used to have “if you post the fastest lap for the hour you got a free appetizer”. I never went hungry on Sundays.
WTFO baby with a little bit of drift. Lap 1 is always interesting with this maneuver.
19-20's on T1 depending on the configuration
Low 15's consistantly on T2.

which one's better?
Friday night 1/23 or Sunday 1/25?
I can do both
I may be in. I was in low 16's on T2 my first race on it. Won by a LOT over some local hot-shoes. Those guys were pissed.

I did a quick race with my sister in laws BF about 2 months ago. had a great time.
and I'll call tomorrow to get some info on pricing and track times
what time works for you guys?
ok, I spoke with Andy in Sales over the phone and since we only have 8-12 people, he recommended the mini grand prix. The endurance race is typically for groups of 20 or so
on Sunday 1/25:
track 1 (min 8 people, max 10) is free from 11am - close
track 2 (min 10 people, max 12) is free from 2pm - close
I'd say 2pm is good...it gives you the opportunity to save money and eat lunch at home, gives an hour for you to drive there, and it doesn't matter if we have anywhere between 8-12 people, because both tracks are available at that time
He said it was $80/person, and they don't offer any discount, but I asked if there were discounts for students (I'm in grad school) and he said that would take 20% off.
So when it's all said and done, it's $64/head and we get 45 laps (3 ten lap races, 1 final 15 lap race) for 30 mins
and if we book more than 14 days in advance we have to pre-pay 50% of the cost up front, then the other 50% within 14 days of the event. if we book w'in 14 days of the event, we pre-pay the whole thing
here's the roster
1. Bhavesh
2. Noxin
3. TheIglu + leathers
4. Daytona440
5. McBiggity
6. TriumphDog
7. DuncanMoto (won't know until Sunday morning)
nt650hawk - spectating (c'moooon...that won't be fun!)
we need at least 1 more person to book track 2, and at least 3 more to book track 1....anyone else?? R7? oreocabrio?
