we had minimal penalties, warnings, bumps, a lost helmet visor, and a few spin-outs, but no injuries, a good group, a fast/fun race, and a cute front desk organizer

it was a great time and hopefully we can do it all again

Yeah, from the pics above I can see that it was in the "fast" configuration. Sometimes they put a kink in the back straight so that after you come out of the tunnel you have to take a 90* right before an almost 180* left for the finish line, but they didn't have that in there...

You're a skinny fast guy... cold track or slow carts, one or the other, I'm surprised you weren't down in the teens.

Here ya go... this is how they change it up.


On a good day, given a clear track, the fast guys should be topping out in the mid-low 19's for fast layout (green), high 20's for the "slow" layout (red).

I can't tell you how frusterated I was when I got to F1 and realized I forgot my camera...you really came through!

The pics also came out pretty well considering how terrible the lighting was and how fast we were going around those turns...great job there!

I also like how you got to get into the pits and take shots from inside the track.

Take this picture for example: it's awesome because it's as close as you're going to get for an action shot around the back turn.

He lost it alright...nobody could find it after it blew off...the drivers the staff, It was like it never existed.

I honestly have no idea when the visor came off or where it went...it must have been consumed by the F1 Gods
