Hello Ladies Ride - June 14th

I am still planning on being at this ride.

However, I work overnight till 8am and have to take care of my dogs first. If I get out early, I will meet you guys in Derry ... if I get out on time, I will meet you guys at the Cafe around 10a. And worst case scenario for me, is I can't leave work till late (gotta love emergency medicine) and may have to miss the entire ride.

Just checking to see if you will be in the Cafe area at 10am, which I figured you would... ... maybe

That's the plan....

And, regarding the weather, unless everyone bails tonight, I will plan on leaving as planned UNLESS it looks like we would be riding in rain all day.

At this point, it looks like we might get wet in the morning with scattered showers but the weather is supposed to improve as the day goes on.

I will make a final call tomorrow morning by 8:00 so check in here before you head out!

Here's hoping we can make this happen....could end up as a wet tshirt contest...and given that there are a lot of men in pink, it could be very interesting (disturbing?) for the ladies!!!

6:15 update

I am looking at the map. Looks like we're in a big band that will last for at least a few hours. Also looks like, by the time breakfast is over, it might start to get better.

I am prepared to ride in the rain but realize that many arent.

I WILL be at Seacoast at 9:00. If no one shows, no problem. If just a few we may change the plan and route so I will be flexible.

It is pouring here in Alton - 28S is hydroplaning heaven with all the frost heaves so I'm out - to get there safely would take probably around 2 hours.

sorry dave... just woke up, its pouring and we have a new puppy to take care of... I'll be sure to bring her and our other little guy to bike night tuesday... so if you're there, I'll be the one struggling with a husband and two puppies (wohoo, I'm gonna lose some weight over the next week).

So...Terry showed up! We had a lead and a sweep - but no one to lead or sweep! Thanks to John from Seacoast, at least we had coffee and a dry place to wait.

We called it a day though I may head out this afternoob if this rain passes!!
