Ride Leaves: 10am Sandy's Variety at Massabesic Traffic Circle in Manchester
Ride is approx 2½ hours on various favorite routes through Southern NH, ending up at Derry Cycle on Rte 28 in Derry for the Annual IMR stunt show starting at 1pm.
The ride and event are FREE, Sponsored by Calvary Bible Church and hosted by Derry Cycle, prizes, raffles and giveaways as well as a free BBQ lunch!!!!
Ample off-street parking for bikes is available!!
I would love to see a big NESR turnout for this, please let me knowif you're interested in attending!
Chris, Is there a site that fill's in the details of the "Show". Sounds like it could be fun.
Its all about June mornings skiing on the glacier and riding twisties in the Alps in the afternoon
Actually not really. It's an event put together by a few individuals and hosted by Derry Cycle. I went last year and it was pretty fun. They had a few bikes from IMR doing a few different shows in the parking lot, when you get there, you fill out a few raffle tickets for free and you're automatically entered into all of the drawings. Prizes last year included a lot of gear (helmets, gloves etc), some clothing, i believe gift certificates and more. It's a small event, but open to everyone. Derry PD is there directing traffic and bikes can park safely behind Derry cycle. Burgers, dogs and other food & sodas are all free as well. Great small event to do some rider networking in. One of my best friends father actually spear-heads the event so I know personally it would mean a lot to him to see people come by!!
HIt me up if you have any other questions!!
-Chris
I'll head down with one of my boys....most likely meet you at the Wildlife Tax...

It looks like we have a decent group lined up (based on the RSVP's on the Facebook Event that I'm getting).
To better accomodate some of the riders, I'm going to move this up to 10:30am stands up. Please be fueled for 100 miles with an empty bladder as I am not planning any 'stops' for this ride.
Regarding weather: General rule - I will ride with the 'chance' of rain. If it is clear we'll be stuck in a steady rain all day, I'll call the ride. If it's just overcast and moist - I ride. I will update this site by 8:30am on Sunday morning with a weather call.
The planned route/ride to the event is mapped in the attachment:
thats where i bought my ride so ill be there weather pending
What is a stunt show?
KB
Exactly that... The IMR stunt team puts on a show of motorcycle stunting for the audience. ...not sure how else to describe it
Being a New Englander all my life, I'm not calling the ride at this point, however it's not looking good. I have a bunch of people who are confirmed to ride on this ride in the Facebook event as well as a couple from on here.
I will make the call at 8:30 Sunday morning, but the forecast is not looking promising!!!
I am working with the organizers of the show to see if the actual stunt show is rain/shine or if they have a rain date in mind. I will update this thread as info becomes available.

Call/Text for updates: 603.275.2447
Is your name Leaf or Chris?
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
Okay. I've just spoken to the event organizer. After contacting the magician, the band, and agent for IMR Stunting, the show will go on rain or shine. As I mentioned there is plenty of parking in the area for cages should you choose not to ride up due to weather.
I will continue to monitor the weather locally and make a decision on the ride that morning. I will be at the show rain or shine and hope to see some of you there.
Kromzey - I'm unaware of any group rides headed up there from the Bean, but I'm just a country boy from NH so I may be under-informed :-)
Uhhh yeah....
It looks like a monsoon will be coming in just in time for our ride. I'm going to go ahead and call the ride off just to be safe.
Please try to muster up the spirit to come out to the show starting at 1pm at Derry Cycle at 44 Crystal Ave in Derry. The show is rain or shine, the show room is open. Bring an umbrella and support the stunters, and hopefully win some prizes!!
I'll be there rain or shine as well. Look for the black NESR shirt under a red demin Laconia bike week cut off holding the camera.. come and say hello!
Oh c'mon the rains not that bad. All it means is that you need to go faster so that you don't get soaked :p
Friends don't let friends wave to Can Ams
Eh... I broke my own golden rule by callin the ride last night, and sure as shit it's looking 'okay' out. I DO ride with 'showers' and based on a few radar and weather sources thats all Southern NH will see today, so I will be at Sandys today at 10:30am. I have a few people on the Facebook event for this also riding.
Either way the show has a green light ... hope to see you all there!!
Edit: Note the time has been adjusted to 10:30 to allow people to take it a bit easier, and gear up as necessary should they choose to ride today.

We stopped by the stunt show, and stayed for about a half hour. While I'm not a stunt or freestyle guy, these guys were talented. Couldn't believe the stuff they were doing. I would like to know how many crashes they have had learning that stuff.
The show was a huge success. A rough estimate closely doubles last years numbers and it was raining this year.
I managed to ride a good 100+ miles before the show... wasn't bad with rain gear on, but the Gixxer got DIRRRRRTY.
I'm working on processing a good 200+ photos and 45+minutes of stunting video i hope to have available soon.
Stay tuned for pics!
Okay - Just added about 196 pics to my facebook album (www.facebook.com/flyngsxr1k)
