Shall we put together some sort of official schedule so that all NESR members know where to find eachother at bike week? Is there an official meeting place or anything?
animal hill , all the way back against rock wall on top of knoll, last ten yrs
With the center garages finished I expect some rejiggering. A lot of NESRs can be found in Turn 1a. Look for the trailer with the observation platform on the top and the big ass school bus....that's where you'll find the grass roots guys. The elitists will be in one of the garages...

ill be there the first weekend and then heading back up Thursday night for the second weekend. meeting at specific events/bars is usually the easiest thing. Like the Lobster Pound, the Mt Washington or WB Smokehouse (all central to everything). ill know more when it gets closer about how many spots for a place to crash if people want to come up.
Anyone ever go to the hill climb at Gunstock? Ive never been, but am looking at spending one of the afternoons there

Anyone else from the central MA area planning on going?
I'd like to go as a bike rider. It's been 9yrs since I have been there. I competed at the hill climb from 93, 95 ,96,97,98.Only missed 94 because of a new job.RidgeRunners m/c club put on the hillclimb. But I heard last year it really sucked. The owners of gunstock where out only for the money from what I hear last couple of years.Plus I also heard the race was to be moved to another hill.I'd be up for a ride.Who has been to the vintage road races at louden? I think I'd like to see that.

I'll probably be at bike week (or the area) for the first weekend fri -mon and 2nd weekend thurs - sun. I have a place up in Alton and can probably accomodate some people. (40 min ride to Laconia from Alton)
Bill,
I'm still on the fence about going up this year. I went up last year and I didnt think it was all that. The ride up to the top of Mt Washington, and the kanga highway was the highlight of the trip but everything else just wasn't my scene.
I think it was the crowd and the atmosphere where I was hanging out. Maybe if I was at the track with a a better presense of sportbike riders, I would have enjoyed it more.
Just to be clear - Bike Week starts on Father's Day weekend this year rather than end on it...
There'll be people in & out of my yard all week that week with the largest gathering happening the closing weekend, usually Wed. thru Sun. (18th-22nd). THAT is THEEEEE place to meet the "real NESR's" - the originals, if you will...![]()
