Well chances are I'll be doing a 2+ ride, and I've never put her on the highway. So slabbing pace will be slow.
If I'm going 2+ I might trail it to mr & mrs gixxerchic's and slab from dracut.
If I'm riding solo, I'd probably just slab from quincy.
We're planning on leaving home at 7:00, so we'd be in Derry at 8:15ish. I'll stop at the BK on 102 and wait for a few, leaving at 8:30, since I don't know how many turns I'll miss.
I know I'll pull at least one "Sheppo" tomorrow.

I was thinking something like this:

So, you're going to try and be at BK.
Not to be an ass, but IF you do make it, would you mind taking us around? I'm only semi-familiar with the area, only having done that ride 3 times.
If we do the 8:30 kickstands up, would we have time to do the lion and make the Larry Lap?
I'll be there, fueled and ready roll, by 8:22....

Not going on the Ride but I'll be at the races later. I'll be hanging with the RSP boys and girls.

Well...two folks I didn't know were going showed up. Alan and Nick. And Chuck, et-al, didn't show. (Neither did Jim but no surprise there!)
But then...at the Lion...Mark and Sarah were already there and shortly after we ordered Chuck, his lovely wife, and son all arrived. So, nice breakfast then off to Louden in time for the Larry Lap!
Thanks to Sarah for taking these pictures and Video!!!

I was behind who ever is in the last photo on the second lap. I didn't mind, bike sounds awesome!
As always thanks Dave for a great ride!
Thanks Wicked for the compliment, I worked hard on that exhaust!
Had a blast today!!
Thanks Dave for letting me ride on the back of the Multi AND for taking me around the track for my first time! Lots of fun, and even better, for a great cause! Glad I could get over the fear of dropping your camera to grab some decent shots...
Maybe next year, I'll take the CB...

Dave,
Thanks for being a sport about leading and HUGE apologies for our tardiness. Like I explained, there was an accident on 495 north that required 2 med-evac helicopters top land on the road, forcing the police to shut down all 3 lanes.
Turns out it was a motorcycle accident on a memorial ride for September 11. It ended up being closed for close to 3 hours. http://wbztv.com/local/motorcycles.a...2.1167274.html
R.I.P.
As usual, the route was fun. Annalisa's come a long way in her riding, but still needs to learn to use the entire lane when the pace picks up.
I took over 800 pictures of racers today and will be posting them up shortly. I didn't get any of the Larry Lap though, since it's hard to ride and shoot a dSLR at the same time.
Oh, and thanks Jim for not showing to BK, like you said you were.
Great pix! Looked like everyone had a great time!
