NE Dragway Fri 8/26 anyone?

Since today got rained out, I'll be heading up Fri. It's suppose to be sunny and high of about 85. Should be nice once the sun starts going down, some nice mid to low 70s and good air would be nice.

Wondering how many posters here frequent NED?

I believe if you look, there is already a thread about Friday. But be prepared to wait in long lines on a Friday vs Wed.. Lots more people go on Fridays.

FWIW.... Wed nights have been crappy since they started the "burnout contest". You don't get as many runs as you use to because of the delays for the burnout event. Also, way more people with cars show up and race, which slows things down as well.


Maybe people will get bored of the burnout contests and the cars will thin out. I'm not sure. But I know last time it was really pretty sad how little racing went on.... Wed last week.

yeah, that burnout shit is gay.. takes up way too much time. people who pay to race aren't getting their money's worth because of that crap, either. save burnout competitions for car and bike shows.. it has no place at street night.

anyways, now that i'm done ranting.. R105, did you race last wednesday? what bike were you on? i rode there but just spectated, i'll be racing for my first time tonight.

I usually race, but I only watched things last wed. I've been dealing with lots of clutch issues, and had a track day coming up (this past Tue), and decided to not race.

I presume you're on an F3? I'll be on a black R1 (although there are sometimes more than one black R1 up there).
