What kind you got and what weight you shoot with? I've got two 17oz Helmstetter's (w/ hand-wrapped leather grips) billiard cues....not to be confused with Pool cues. My main game is Three-Cushion Biliards (3 balls, no pcokets, 5x10 table).

I'd actully suggest Boston Billiards instead of Jillians (which is right around the corner from Jillians). Boston Billiards dosn't have a dress code (Jillian's does), and the food is better...not to mention the tables , balls, equipment, etc.

Oh.. I didn't follow up on the thread.. Doh. Ok Dec 4th works.

Chris: I shoot with McDermotts 19 & 19.5 oz 12mm shafts and Irish linen wrap, my breaker cue is also a Mc. 19 with a 13 mm shaft.

I have not played Billiiards in years, use to play striaght pool, 9 ball and snooker. Barely touched my cues in the past few years. I'm looking forward to playing. i might have to go practice this week / weekend and freshen up..

snooker. damn. THAT is a game of skill (along with Three Cushion Billiards). i've never played but have always wanted to. you'll have to explain the rules to me.

good point. this might be something worth weighing against the dress code @ Jillians. Boston Billiards has a few (less trhan 10?) video games and the such. other than that the only other than pool is mingling with the crowd and getting your drink-on.

persoanlly, i hate dress codes, am not a big fan of video games, and I *heart* pool....so I'm all over Boston Billiards.

I don't really play pool either....but I am still in for Boston Billiards to avoid the dress code. A few drinks and some fun people...what else do you need??
