you guys need a chicane or something for the back straight. the track really benefits HP. i was able to keep/catch up in the turns only to lose 10+ bike lengths on the straights. the track was a blast when i ran it. very "busy" and tight. wish there were more (safe) places to pass. its cool that you guys were running backwards from the way i ran it.
there is a paved go kart track at salisbury beach that im gonna check out this year. gonna check condition of the track and see if they would let someone run a "series" there since it seems they dont do much business from what ive seen.

Yeah, the backwards layout makes the whole infield a passing zone now, without requiring crazy heroics. Much better layout, although I still miss the bus stop turns of the old layout. : )

Josh - If you want a bus stop we'll put one in for you on the straight. We have plenty of room to do it.
We have some alternate layouts for the pocketbikes that bypass the really tight section, its tough on the pocket bike clutches.
We are open to trying new layout suggestions. We'll see what we have when we get there.

I dunno if you can work a bus stop into the backwards layout without killing the flow? Always fun to try new layouts though! : )

KB - we only really know the track owner up there. We come 2.5hrs from the Mass/RI border to run this thing. The track owner has been nice enough to let me have full access to the track for our two wheel fun. No mixing of the karts or other series while we are there.

CRF70/KLX110 style plates are larger than CRF50 style units, easier to read from a distance.

No prob.....It Kicks ass and the new belt is tight....came out killer

Race 1 is in the books - Some great competition in Unlimited and 110cc Limited.Had some scooter racing going on too. Most powerful bike didn't win in either Main Feature - you have to stay upright to win.

Next race is this Sunday May 3rd. Pits open at 8am. Hope to see you all there.
