took a quick ride today (sunday 12/9): fieldsheer textile pants ftw!

I ended up going for a 30 min ride today in the cold, and the $30 fieldsheer textile pants did a pretty good job keeping my legs away from the cold.

It's almost as if the textile doesn't transfer heat away from my legs that well, so I didn't really feel the wind cutting through.

Now I'm not sure if this is true for all textile pants, but the fieldsheer textile definitely has my vote of confidence for the diehard cold weather riders

nothing like a test of smooth brake/throttle application that I couldn't handle
