As some of you may know, we're organizing the 2nd annual Reed's Ride, which will be on Saturday, June 5th this year.
Some of you participated last year, both in the ride and in helping us make the event work, and we appreciated your support in 2009, and hope to see it again in 2010. As anyone who attended can tell you, even people who never had the chance to meet Reed were touched by the outpouring of support this event received, and by the huge positive emotional impact it had on Reed's family and friends.
This year, again, we'll be using a poker run type ride format. The route will be similar to last year, taking riders through northern CT. We'll post more details on the ride route and stops themselves as we get closer to the event.
All the proceeds from Reed's Ride go directly to benefit a local charity, the Bristol Adult Resource Center. This charity holds a special value to Reed and his family, as this center greatly helps a family member.
Please, as friends and fellow riders, help us make this event even more successful than last year. Spread the word, tell your friends, post it to facebook, get your riding buddies to come. It's a great event, with lots of fun, food and great people to be around. We'll have a flyer available for print/download in the next couple days, so you can post the image online, or print flyers and hang them at places local to you where riders hang out.
If you're interested in helping out either on that day or beforehand, send a private message to any of the admin/mod team. As we have identify specific needs for volunteers, we'll respond back and/or post up on the forum asking for help.
Also, as with last year, we encourage you all the pre-register for the ride. All registration details can be found on ReedsRide.com, but pre-registration is important to help us organize the event properly.
Again, thanks for all the help and support I know we'll get in making this 2nd annual Reed's Ride even more successful than the last!

Heres a condom. I figured since youre acting like a dick, you should dress like one too.

Good luck with the ride. I will see what I can do. I think I remember this all from 600rr.net. When I was there this was IOBOTs best friend. So sad when anyone is lost.
I waited a few and looked on he webpage you posted and did other research and it is who I though it was. So sad. I watched a vid montage in memory and it choked me up and I did not even know him. I hope the ride turns out to be a great day and everything goes smoothly.
Thanks!
And yes, we have already 75 confirmed attendees and 45 maybes just via facebook. We are hoping for about 150 bikes this year.
Getting closer guys! Don't forget to pre-register at www.reedsride.com
