Thank god for NESR!!! woke up this morning. Saw this post. Found out it was today and it was happening and told the wife I had to go hahaha. Scored some awesome stuff, super cheap to help with my cb750 build and even came back with an great suzuki poster from the mid 2000s to go up in the shop. Great bikes to see (even one sandcast cb750) and so much stuff it over whelmed me a bit. Im glad after a year off that they came back strong. Still my favorite meet of the year to get some great scores.

I'm pretty bummed I missed this. I think 2014 was the last time I went. Was looking forward to bringing my daughter and showing her all the cool bikes.

For those wondering what Rice o Rama is.... It's an old school motorcycle swap meet aimed at the bikes from Japan. It is like a collective yard sale. AND it has a bike show that is a true grass roots show with local owners displaying their bikes that truly belong in a museum. Here are a few photo's I took.





For those that love to wander around bike nights and look at peoples bikes you will find some awesome examples of rare bikes parked along the fence of the fair grounds. I saw an SRX600 that looked brand new. A couple grey market two strokes and this KLR which would win an award for the best KLR option I have ever seen in the wild.



The vibe of this show is pure motorcycledom at its finest. If you see a Son's of Anarchy t-shirt wearing type walking around you'll notice they are confused by everyone smiling.... Yep "Let the good times roll" and you meet the nicest people at Rice o Rama.
