If you ride with FireNutzRR (Wayne), be prepared to have him not wait at intersections to let you know where he is going. Its a good thing John had a map, or we'd still be in Podunk VT.
Hey Wayne-o, remember the advice that you gave to Nathan and I to stick around near any intersections if you are ahead of the pack? We were really hoping that you would do it too.
We ended up following 12 to 11, then Nathan and I hit 101, while John went east on 9 and over to 114 I assume. Where the hell did you go? We need to put a leash on you or something.
In honor of John's sig lineGreg should also understand this one.
Oh, and I had just a bit over 300 miles on the trip odometer from today.
I had 286 on my odometer.
Here's your pic, Tim.

Great pics and great bikes. It looks like you guys went on a nice ride
What kind of bike is the yellow one, and the black full fairing with a dual exhaust?

the yellow one is john's ducati 748, the black one's a honda interceptor or vfr. the only honda in a sea of ducs.

Ok.......Ok..............OK! Cut me a break. After all of the rides that went off rather well last year? Gimme a break! Man, when I passed that car I looked back and saw Tim right be hind me. I went the 1/8 mile or so to the light and saw three to four bikes behind me through my tiny vibrating mirrors. I thought all was well after trying to comfirm that you peeps were behind me. I took a right onto RT5 asuming that you guyz were behind me. Was behind a slow moving car doing about 40 and the bikes that were behind me that took the right with me feel back far enought that I could recognize that it wasn't you peeps. I pulled over and back tracked all the way to where all of us turned around to get onto RT44 east. At that point I realized that I had lost the group. I must apologize to all for my fuck up. I hope you will forgive me.![]()
Anyways, I went back down RT5 to RT12 to go into Clarmont then headed south on RT11/RT12. I did find Unity Rd and as I was chillin with one hand on the handle bar........all of a sudden it turned into a dirt road. FUCK...............Mike you wooda loved that road.![]()
So,........I turned back and headed south on RT12 and took RT123 home.
It was kinda a screwy day from the point where we passed the rolling sofas on RT149.
Again..........I apologize. I honestly think if I had the stock mirrors on the duc instead of the BLING mirrors there would be no question about who was in back of me.
I owe you peeps one.
Sorry.

way to go Wayne.
"fuckit!"
The funny thing is that we headed down rte 5 for about a mile, then I decided to turn us around to go back to the intersection with the light to see if you made it back there to find us. At that point I saw signs for Rte 12 and remembered John saying that you wanted to go down rte 12 so we headed that way instead. In theory, if I hadn't second guessed my decision to go south on rte 5, we would have met back up with you. Oh well. I think we still all had fun anyways, well except for having to dodge all of the rolling couches in NH and the granny drivers in VT.Originally posted by FireNutzRR

I ran into two more groups of couches on the way home on Rte. 9. Luckily I had plenty of room to pass them. There are some cool long sweepers on 9.
It's a good thing we're getting these mishaps out of the way, early in the season.
We still had a decent day. Maybe an earlier start next time....![]()

It wasn't easy trying to coordinate this ride while trying to work around everyone’s personal schedule. Next time I will plan a ride and execute. If you’re there………you're there. If not you’re not.Originally posted by odduc

the worst thing was the smell of cow shit while slabbing rt 12. i got a little carried away maybe in some passing zones. i saw 115mph or more atleast once. plus i don't know if you noticed tim and nate, one of the harleys we got stuck behind had some fat bitch on the back. she and her "old man" were talking shit when they saw us behind them. don't ask me how i know but i know![]()
other than that it was a good day. i'm also the reason for the late start i think. next time if i can't go early i'll stay home. having time to ride this year is going to be tuff
