Ride to the track 7/26

[Half Squid]

Work is a bit crazy right now and my bike, well my bike is still in the shop. I told them I would be there to get it @ 1pm tomorrow to get it, no more B/S.

So I need to ride and would like to see some races.

Heres the idea:

Meet at MotoMarket fully fueled leaving for Louden @10 AM Sharp. Enough time to drink a coffee and have a muffin if your there around 9:30 - 9:45. They open @ 9 if you really want to be early!

The routes will be blah,dee blah, to blady dee blah blah, (North!)
Getting to the track around noonish (I Think).

I will work out the routes and have them available later tonight, if you want to know or meet along the way PM me for the routes.

So who's in?

it's in Acton, prolly 30-45 min. from you via Rt.128 / Rt.2A. here's their site: Moto Market

can't find out for sure from the NHIS or LRRS sites... but I don't think any races start before noon. I know, as cornerworker, that's when I've hadda be in place...

Saturday and Sunday races start at noon. Practice starts at 8am.

Saturday's first race is the rookie race.

Don't plan on getting coffee and muffins at Motomarket if we're leaving at 8:15. They don't open till 9AM.

I'm in if we meet at Motomarket more like 9... leave at 9:30.

That puts you at the track for 10:30 or so... plenty early.

Hell, if you plan to leave that early you can stop at that little resturant down the street from the track to grab a full breffiss.

For what its worth, I would be more interested in meeting at MM at 9:30am or so with a departure time of 10 am that way there we can take the back roads up and still grab something to eat before we get into the track.

Alright... someone needs to step up and make this official.

It seems like the ride will have more takers if it leaves motomarket at 9:30, the earliest. Especially since some of us have over an hour travel to get there.

I'll check the list again tonight to see if that happens.

I was thinking about leaving around 3am that I got plenty of time to get there for for the first race at noon.

Anyway I should be there before 10am, I will be coming up 495 from Attleboro. Anyone know the exit and route #,I 've only been there once.

Take the exit for RT 119, at the end of the ramp take a left. MM is about? 7 miles I think from there.

I do not know the exit # sorry. It is the firstr one after RT110 I believe.. If that helps any...

I f@#% up, and never check the date, you guys are going tomorrow. I got a B-party, but I will be going on Sunday if anyone is interested in riding up.

FYI... the last gas station before MM on the right as you head west on 2 (@ the junction of 27) has closed...

that's the one I always usedta use prior to rides from MM... now, I just use the one across the street (Mobil, I think)

just so's nobody zooms into the now-defunct station like I did earlier this year...

Sorry we separated once we got near, but my friends daughter was in the rookie race and I didn't want to miss it.
