Sat. 7/27. Eastern to western MA.

I’m riding out into western MA with a small group of riders on Saturday 7/27. Looking to add maybe a few more riders if there is any interest.

It’ll be a full day ride 250-300 miles. It will be mostly back roads with minimal highway except on the way back. Pace will be spirited at times but please ride at your own pace. We will wait at or before the next turn off. Minimum gear to participate will be helmet, jacket, gloves, boots and jeans. More gear the better. I’ll be in full gear.

There will be 2 meeting spots. First in Watertown, MA (meet 7:20, stands up 7:30) and the second in Berlin, MA (meet 8:15, stands up 8:25). From there we go west, brunch in the Amherst area, turn back at Mt. Greylock and on the way back we might side step into VT.

Right? When I hit the twisties I run 4th all the way thru and its killing my mpg. -1 +2 isn't helping me neither

I think I run around mostly in 5th. There's a bit too much engine braking in 4th for my taste.

I need a tq in my life. Good times! Got lost but it was well worth it. I was trying to avoid Vermont somehow ended there. Lol

That is some wicked footage David! Definitely a cool aspect from the swing arm looking back. Started getting target fixation on your chain for some reason.

Nice vids Matt. Most single-day miles I've done in about three years. Got to ride a lot of new roads & now I know why Greylock is well worth the trip. That road is a blast. Thanks for leading David.
