Besides the VT'ers, I'm probably the first "southerner" home.

I cannot stress how much fun I had today. Meeting everyone was awesome, I had a great time, would ride with any of you again. People were great, roads were great, and I even somehow managed to beat my g/f to my house besides the fact I rolled in an hour later than I had planned on. Hope everyone makes it home alright, especially Alex and Harrison, who have a much longer night ahead than most the rest of us.

Will post pics later, have a larger response, something, but for now, its hang out with g/f time, so for now I leave you all with........

Just got home myself...

Despite my little crash and burn escapade this afternoon (KB & Jay, I owe you several rounds for helping me pull the bike out of the ditch...) I had an awesome day. Meeting you all was great, weather was great, ride was awesome... I haven't done roads like 17 in Years!!!

I have to say, that after today's incident, I'm incredibly happy with the K1200R... That fuckin thing is like a tank on two wheels...

Now, putting some ice on the right hand, and having several to relax...

Holy crap! 9:45 and I walked in my door! I don't know how many miles I did? I am going to have to calculate how much gas I got today and divide by 25mpg. Somehow my tripomiter reset during the day? All I know is it was a lot of miles, my back is sore and I had a great day of riding!!!!

Great idea for a rt 17 run today the weather was perfect! Even got to see out favorite Vermonters and rip 17 with them!

I am downloading pics now I will see how far i get and try to get them up tonight tomorrow at the latest!

I dont know exactly what happened, but I'll tell you one thing, that BMW is a fucking rock. Into the woods and a little lowside, and hes got a broken headlight lens, and a few "scuffs" on a few plastic parts, and by scuffs, I mean smudges that'll probably buff out with a hose and a bucket of water and soap.

Got a little wide in one of the turns going down the backside of 17. Once I was in the sand on the shoulder, that's all she wrote...

As Jeff said, broken headlight lens and a few scuffs... Other than that the Bmmr is "right as rain"...

Other than a bruised ego, I'm fine...

I may not be a "bad mother fucker" like Jay, but I'm a tough bastard... Takes more than going down at 25-30mph to damage me...

Sorry everyone, maybe Mike and Wills camera came up with something better, but mine got mostly some colored blurs, with a few decent ones mixed in. Heres the best of the corner pics from 17. I must say that Mike & Jay's worked out very well.

After putting MY knee down (first time evarrrr!! ), I called it quits, as this was my THIRD time to 17 in 4 weeks, and didnt want to push my luck, so just sat back and enjoyed the show. Hoped everyone else thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Oh yeah today was a great day JennB and Hessogood got home at 8:30.

503 miles and 15 hours later, we were back home. Harrison and I got back around 10pm.

This was probably the best group ride I've been on. The weather was perfect, the route was fantastic, and no one got hurt even though we had one incident. I am still amazed at how well that bimmer crashed. Brad, I hope your hand feels better.

I had a blast. We definetly need to do that again. I will post my pics up tomorrow if they came out ok.

Great day, Keira and I made it home with no injuries. Pride a little though..... Keira and I BOTH fell over tonight at a stop on gravel..... it was a site with both bikes on the ground and us both being confised as to what the hell happened...

Apparently what happened was this: I came to a stop to turn right at the intersection and when i started to move the front tire rolled over some large gravel (all accross the road) and i grabbed the breaks to stop and put my foot down which also slipped on the copious ammounts of gravel and next thing i know i am rolling away from my bike... I looked back to tell Keira i was ok and saw her bike on the ground too. She saw me fall over and hit her breaks ans slipped on the gravel as well and went over as well.

I think if it was not the end of the day after a long day i would have caught my bike but oh well, not bad for a first "dump" for me. Less than 2 mp/h
